As we enter the seventh year of our flower farm, we are stepping into a sabbath year—a season intentionally set apart for rest, renewal, and restoration.
This decision has been forming quietly over several years through prayer, listening, and a growing sense that both the land and the farmer need time to rest. Farming teaches us that abundance is not sustained through constant production alone. Soil needs seasons of rest so nutrients can rebuild, ecosystems can rebalance, and life beneath the surface can do its unseen work.
In the same way, farmers need rest. The work of growing is deeply meaningful, but it is also physically, emotionally, and spiritually demanding. This sabbath year is an intentional pause to recover, reflect, and tend to the parts of ourselves that often get overlooked in the steady rhythm of planting and harvesting.
During this year, we will not be growing flowers or offering bouquets or subscriptions. However, this is not a closure. It is a pause rooted in care and long-term stewardship. We plan to return after this season with renewed energy, healthier soil, and a deeper sense of calling.
We are profoundly grateful for the support and trust you have given us over the past seven years. Thank you for honoring this season of rest with us. We look forward to what will grow next.
